A Little About Us

Starting Nursery is a major milestone in a young child’s life, and it’s a time that deserves to be handled with care and sensitivity. At Plasmarl, we ensure that every child feels safe, happy, and stimulated, and is looked after in a warm, caring, and professional environment.

We love learning in Nursery! Throughout the year, children will enjoy a wide range of exciting learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors.

Mornings - 8:50am - 11:30am

Afternoons- 12:45pm - 3:20pm

Class Dojo

Please keep an eye on Class Dojo for regular photos, updates, and important information about our learning. We use Class Dojo to share what the children have been exploring, reminders about upcoming events, and any notices you may need throughout the year.

If you have any concerns, questions, or information to share—no matter how small—please feel free to message me on Dojo. Your communication is always welcome, and it helps us work together to support your child in the best possible way.

Outdoor Learning

Come rain or shine, we love to play and learn outdoors! Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather so they can enjoy their outdoor activities comfortably. During the winter months, children will need a warm, waterproof coat and suitable waterproof clothing. Hats, gloves, and wellies are also very helpful on colder or wet days.

Snack Money

We kindly ask that £1.50 is brought in each Monday. We provide healthy snacks in school.

Toileting

We ask that children are toilet trained before attending Nursery. If you are currently toilet training your child, please let us know and we can remind them to use the toilet in school. An intimate care plan must be signed before we are able to change your child in school. 

PE

Nursery's PE day to be confirmed. Children in Nursery are not expected to change their own clothes, so on PE days send your child into school wearing their PE kit (white t-shirt and black joggers/shorts).
