Important information

This term our Whole-School topic is: Mind, Body and Soul. In Year 2 our topic is called 'Healthy Body, Healthy Mind'. We will be learning all about what it means to be healthy, how to keep physically fit and how being physically fit and healthy is good for our wellbeing. We will be using a number of books to guide our learning in this area. As always, 'Pupil Voice' sessions will be used to explore where the children want to take their learning. Pupil voice will be further utilised in our weekly 'Pupil Voice' sessions where children will choose their independent tasks (Missions) for the following week.

Your child's reading book will be changed on a Monday (and Friday on request). Its is very important that the children are reading to an adult every night. Please bring reading books and reading records in every Monday.

Welly Wednesday!!!

Every Wednesday Year 2 have an outdoor learning afternoon. We can be found exploring local woods, streams and undergrowth. We will be out in all weathers,  so please make sure your child has appropriate  clothing and wellies. The 'September Pack' will include a blanket consent form for these visits. Please make sure you complete and return it.

Friday Frenzy!!!

PE takes place on a Friday! Please provide your child with PE kit and trainers for this day.
