Croeso i Fflwyddyn Derbyn!

Welcome to the Reception!

In our classroom we learn through play and plenty of laughter. We have fun, and enjoy being outdoors!

We are looking forward to a busy and exciting term! Our topic is 'Through My Window'. Our Reception class will be learning about themselves, their identity and our immediate locality (Cynefin). Our focus text this term is 'The Growing Story' by Ruth Krauss. We will be talking about important events that have happened in our lives and what may happen in the future. We will be looking at how we change and grow. The children will be taking part in regular Tric a Chlic sessions and learning to describe the weather in Welsh through the use of music and Tedi Twt books.

Important Information!

Our Reception children spend a lot of time exploring our outdoor classroom. Please make sure they bring a coat and appropriate footwear to school every day.

It is very important that the children read as often as possible at home and in school. Therefore it is vital that all children bring their reading books and records to school every Wednesday!
